Recycled PET (polyethylene terephthalate) gives new life to single-use plastic. Recycling a plastic bottle and turning it into vegan shoes reduces the harmful impacts of producing that same bottle, preventing it from ending up polluting the oceans or the ozone layer if it is decomposed or incinerated. Although we advocate an end to single-use plastic, we know that we must find solutions for the plastic that currently exists on the planet.
